Not only do we have the best people, we also employ the best new technology in LASIK laser eye surgery. At Lions Laser Vision, we have recently invested in the first ever SCHWIND ATOS femtosecond laser in Australia to be paired with our SCHWIND AMARIS 1050RS excimer laser.
As you can imagine, before we made such a significant investment on an important piece of laser equipment we did plenty of research and we believe these are the best lasers available anywhere in the world for laser eye surgery.

We are experts in all types of laser vision correction including LASIK, SmartSight and PRK. Each treatment is safe and effective, however the chosen treatment is based on your needs upon consultation with your surgeon.
What is LASIK Surgery?
LASIK (laser in-situ keratomileusis) is the most common form of laser eye surgery – that is surgery performed at our clinic to correct refractive errors and reduce the dependence on glasses and contact lenses.

What is SmartSight?
SmartSight is the latest laser eye surgery procedure available today. It is safe, gentle and precise, giving you the best possible vision in the least amount of time. Visual recovery and comfort after the procedure are excellent and it is less invasive than other forms of laser eye surgery.
What is PRK Eye Surgery?
PRK (Photo Refractive Keratectomy) is another form of laser eye surgery which is equally as effective and as safe as LASIK, but may be recommended instead of LASIK depending on the condition of the cornea and other needs. Although the vision results are just as good as LASIK, the recovery time is usually longer.
